Not to be confused with the SharkBite 2 version of this, the brand new Pirate Ship.
The Pirate Ship is a boat in SharkBite. It costs 150 Shark Teeth. It is also the least expensive ship with weapons as of 16th April 2019.
Description
The Pirate Ship has nine seats, a driver seat, three on the crow's nest, two seats with cannons, two without and one on the very tip of the bowsprit. The cannons can be fired and can, (although very unlikely), hit the Shark. The Pirate Ship is fairly good as a boat. It has a chance to hit the shark via the cannons, plus, it has good speed and durability. However, it has the second worst handling, only beating the Deluxe Yacht.
Between the staircases, there is a door that you cannot go through. Although many players have exploited/glitched through the door, there is only a fairly large wooden room with nothing in there. You can also sit at the top of the crow's nest and shoot the shark.
Advantages/Disadvantages
Advantages
- You can fire the cannons, which deal damage to the shark if it hits.
- There are lots of interesting sitting places, like the crow's nest and the bowsprit.
- If you are sitting on the crow's nest and the shark hits the boat, there is a good chance you will survive.
- It hardly ever flips and if it does, it can upright itself automatically
- If you drive into an island at full speed you could bounce and do flips and stuff.
- Can use the mast to survive a shark attack chances are, the shark will assume you're dead.
- Can't turn over
- Makes huge debris with cover to live on
- Cannons do high damage when hit
- Can get cannon baller badge if hit shark with cannon (Public server only)
Disadvantages
- Low handling.
- Cannons almost never hit.
- Not very good at outrunning the shark.
- The durability is a lie. The shark can destroy it easily.
- Slow reload of cannons
- Very glitchy.
- Hard to get back on ship.
- Very slow
- Sharks mostly target it due to the fact that it's slow and decent size.
- The mast will give your location away.
- Shark magnet
Notes/Trivia
- If you manage to hit the shark with a cannonball, you'll get a badge called: Cannonballer.
- It is one of the larger boats in the game.
- The Pirate Ship is very buggy. It can fly and spin around by a player jumping off or hitting the wall and islands. You can use this to get away from the shark. Due to the glitchy nature of the ship, plus the low handling, it is more of a risk and reward kind of ship.
- There is another way to fly the ship, which is when you fire snowballs using the snowball launcher, towards the bottom-front of the ship while accelerating.
