The Great White is the default shark in SharkBite 2. It was added on release and is the pre-owned shark which is equipped when you first join. Unlike the first game’s version, Great White has some better stats than other sharks, having more health than the and being bigger than the Shortfin Mako and Bull Shark, while simply outsizing the Great Hammerhead.

The Great White is the default shark that is given to a player when they first join. It is based on the well-known Great White Shark. Its black in SharkBite and it is grey and white in real life. When the Great White is far away, it can sometimes be mistaken for SWAT Boat or the Stealth boat because they share the same color pallet. Also when the night comes, it is almost impossible to see it due to its black color. In the 2018 Christmas event, Great Whites were equipped with a red santa hat and a beard. In the 2019 Easter event, Great whites were the only shark in the event that had bunny ears. Once the event has ended, Great whites no longer has bunny ears. But however a picture of it can be seen in the lobby. Also in the 2019 Christmas event , Great whites have a Santa hat only instead of having a beard like the last time. However, in the 2020 egg hunt, it has bunny ears again. It is seen in the game icon, but in 2021, it doesn't have bunny ears. In the 1 Billion party the great white shark had a party hat.

Strategies
Being the weakest shark in the game, there's many way to defeat this shark.
- Fast Boat: When beginning a round, choose your fastest boat in order to outrun it or to shoot it with your crew.
- Large Boat: Choose your largest boat, the shark will take time to destroy the entire boat and to find you, sneak behind it and shoot it as much as you can, if the shark got away, hide in the debris until it came back, do the same method.
- Camping: If you have a minigun, try as fast as you can to get to the shark cave, right after the shark gets released, shoot it.
- Crew: If you have a lot of people, you can wait on a large ship until the shark comes, focus everyone to fire at it.

- Some players may mistake you for a noob and think you're an easy kill (which is when you strike)
- It is almost impossible to see it at night
- Submarines will have a hard time detecting you in the cave, giving them less time to react
- Can’t get stuck in cage

- It's one of the slowest and weakest sharks in the game
- It can easily be killed by the survivors, especially if they are an experienced survivor.

- This is the most commonly used shark as the user will most likely see this kind of shark in most servers.
- Great White has some reskin variants, being Ghost Shark, Rudolph Shark, RGB Shark and Golden Shark. The Ghost and Rudolph sharks have the same stats as Great White while the RGB and Golden sharks have a higher speed stat.
- It is the first and only shark that wears bunny ears for the Easter event.
- Sometimes, if the game is loading in slowly, then the great white shows up with only eyes and some strange grey ball in which it only lasts for seconds or minutes and then it goes away after the game fully loads in.
- In real life, the great white shark are one of the top dangerous sharks.
- It is the only shark in the game that has different variants of it.
